Companies House update on filing delays and service closures

Companies House have issued the following statement regarding filing and incorporation delays:
We are aware of an issue currently affecting the processing of filings. We want to reassure customers that our teams are working hard to resolve it as quickly as possible.
This has been caused by an issue affecting one of our core systems. This is not the result of a cyber attack.
To carry out the necessary maintenance to fix this issue:
- WebFiling will remain closed on Monday 15 June
- the Set up a limited company and register for Corporation Tax service will remain closed on Monday 15 June
- you will not be able to file using software on Monday 15 June
We will give a further update on service availability by the end of the day on Monday 15 June.
During this time, you can still:
- file accounts using the Find and update company information service
- upload a document to Companies House using the Upload a document service
- close a company online
- file on paper
- get a personal code for identity verification
While we continue to receive some filings, they are currently being queued and will not appear on the register or on the Find and update company information service until the issue is resolved. We’ll have a record of when we received your document, even if there’s a delay before we process it.
We are currently unable to process same day filings.
If you miss your filing deadline because of our service closures you do not need to contact us. File as soon as possible once services are available again, and keep a record of the date and time you tried to access the service while it was closed.
