The Seychelles are a group of Islands situated at the centre of the Indian Ocean.
They were granted independence from the UK in 1976 and are now a presidential republic that is also part of the Commonwealth.
In 1994 under the International Business Company's Act, a flexible legislative environment allowed for the registration of IBC's and since then the popularity of Seychelles IBC's has grown.
